Dr. Naira E. Vargas Galindo received her Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, in Tunja, Colombia, one of the best medical schools in her country; she finished a post degree study in Pharmaceutical marketing management and has been trained in Miami, USA and Japan in aesthetic and alternative Medicine respectively. She has worked at several hospitals and clinics in her Country as well at the largest world´s SPA chain as a Medispa Physician, prior to establishing her Aesthetic and Holistic Medicine practice in 2020.

During her medical studies, she had a special medical internship in plastic surgery at Hospital San Rafael, the most important hospital in her state, performing several different reconstructive medical procedures. Dr. Vargas also performed several minimally invasive surgical procedures during a one year social service for underprivileged people in Boyacá, Colombia. Her particular interest in surgical procedures led her to work as an impatient doctor in the surgical service at one of the main clinics in her country.

Dr. Naira Vargas’s achievements have led her to complete a 3 month intensive course in Internal Medicine in Bogotá, Colombia. She has been subscribed to the American Heart Association since 2008, and she is constantly updating her medical knowledge. What Dr. Vargas loves most about aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery is the possibility of helping people to feel better by improving their appearance.

Dr. Naira Vargas Galindo interest and experience in aesthetic medicine has let her to complete advanced training in Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation and Aesthetic Medical Procedures under renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Brad Herman in Miami, Florida. She has specialized in the application of BOTOX Cosmetic, Dysport, and the Restylane family of dermal fillers and in the skin tightening treatment called Thermage.

Dr. Naira Vargas has dabbled in the field of Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) since her personal experience as a patient and after her immersion in the oriental medicines in her stay in Japan, when she began to study Traditional Chinese Medicine and has continued her education with emphasis on aesthetic acupuncture and auriculotherapy.
